    MTI X1 cam in 5.3

Well i have the MTI X1 cam in my truck the specs are 232,228 595/572@112 well i have full bolt on besides the underdrive pulley. I also have a 2600 stall verter was wondering if a port job on my heads work good with this cam i was thinking of just porting the intake side since it has more duration and lift what do you guys think? My best last friday at baytown was a 14.11@99 my 60' 2.234 im thinking i might also need about a 3400 verter?
