    opinions wanted for best cold air kit for my 06 sierra

    opinions wanted for best cold air kit for my 06 sierra only mods are flowmaster and as soon as cold air kit is on i will call nelsons back. I have k&n on everything else I know but some people say you pay extra for the name. any just as good for less money out there. also always looking for a nice fiberglass rear cover white or black. have a vinyl graphics buddy going to desing me up some nice stripes soon. thank you.     Build your own. Its a lot cheaper and almost identical to what you would get from just about anywhere else.

    the one at autozone is a decent kit, but CHANE THE FILTER. They break down too easy and that crap will get in your engine.


    i personally have an slp, and i think it's the best for the price. i don't like how open the k&n is, and stock box is just too restricting.
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    Lots of people on here are running the spectres. I got mine of ebay for 60 brand new. Look there.

    I really like the S&B kits. A friend has one on his 3/4 ton. has a nice see thru box that keeps the filter from getting wet and its very good quality and made in america.

    anyone having trouble with the filters on the spectre. i keep hearing about it but looks ok to me till i can afford a dryflow to go on it.
