    Brake Upgrade

    Hi:

I have a lifted 2003 Avalanche 1500 4x4 in serious need to better braking power. I have 35's on it and between heavy meats and towing, I need better brakes. I don't think a rotor upsize is going to do it- I need a better caliper and rotors.

Recommendations? If I could keep it under $1000, I'd like that.

Agree on the hydroboost- which big brake kit do you recommend? I have a 2003 Avalanche 1500 4x4

I had a customer with an avalanche w/ 22's. I Put the SSBC slotted rotors and SSBC Pads(I think reboxed Hawks) on all 4 corners. Made an honest world of difference and only cost $400-$500.

I would recommend them also. Powerslot rotors are 100 a piece and hawk semi metallic pads are best for performance. that would put you at about 550-600.
