    opinions on cam

So I found a good deal on this cam but im not sure about all of the converter sized and whatnot. I am installing a 2500 stall converter this week. I just wanted to know if you guys think this would be a good cam with my stall and setup. cam specs .226/228 lift.569/.571 with a 113 ls

I would say that at least a 3k stall would be needed. Nice cam for stock heads. You should see good numbers.

why such a small converter? you planing on forced induction?

thats a nice cam but like jeff mentioned it needs a bigger converter, somewhere around 3200 + if you ask me, but if you still tow then stay around the 3000 mark

yea thats kind of what i was thinking also. The reason is i just bought a new tranny and it comes with the converter and after all that im kinda broke for a little while again. So i was hoping i could get by with that converter with this cam

the converter would be fine, just wouldnt put the power needed to the ground as quick thats all!!! better to have something now then letting the truck sit until you can afford one!!
