    bad ride quality

I've got a 2000 rcsb with 20" SS wheels and 275/45/20 general grabbers. Can anyone recommend a shock to control the heavier unsprung weight. The only changes to the suspension is 2" lowering shackles in the rear. I have bilstien shocks on it now but the ride is terrible on anything other than a smooth surface.

Did you remove or atleast cut the rear bumpstops? You may be hitting them

your ride is going to be ruffer with 20's over 16's cause of less tire to accomidate for some of the shock absortion. instead of having 4-5" of tire you'll only have 2.5-3", which will make it handle better but ride stiffer.

Nathan do you run out and check your odometer every time a post like this comes up?

Any large-body monotube design shock will work well for you. I have been using KYB Monomax shocks for years. Others use Edelbrock IAS with success.

i will have some rancho 9000 9 way adjustables for sale here soon. you can stiffen and soften the shocks with the turn of a knob.

they probably dont even have 3k miles on them.
