Hello,
I am a noob here well I have some questions. I am planning on swapping out my 5.3 engine on my 2003 suburban to a 6.0 ls2. My current engine has over 150k miles on it and is asking to be put to sleep, its knocking and well i decided to make the move. My question will it directly drop in into the suburban with out mods, better yet what all do i need to make the swap.
I have the tools to remove.
Looking for a used ls2
what else...

I believe it will be a drop in. Of course a ECU with the motor would help alot though. Otherwise you will need a tune for sure.

The search function is pretty useful also as I'm fairly certain this question had been asked numerous times in the past. Lots of info already on here but if you can't find it, ask away.
