I found a corvette servo that fits my 4L60E in my 01Silverado for about $13.00.
Is this a good buy? Should it only be done with shift kit? Any help will be appreciated. To date the only mods Ive done are the TB bypass, K&N FIPK II, and a flowmaster.

$13 is decent for an over the counter price, the best I saw them was like $8 at a bulk parts trans place... that was per unit.

No, you can install that without a shift kit! It's a decent inexpensive upgrade that should come in all 4L60Es stock anyway. I'd pair it with a billet OD servo too.

A shift kit is a great addition to add to a 4L60E paired with a 'Vette servo.

www.transmissionpartsusa.com is where I get my parts, very, very good pricing!
