ok now. i sent my payment to ABSOLUTE SPEED for a set of stg 2 heads.i sent my payment or 1550.00 for a set of heads including the 300.00 core charge. i se it on AUGUST-4-2004. it is now SEPTEMBER-30-2004. i have spoken to him via email. first he said they cnc'ed my heads wrong. now i find that they have not even started on them. i have asked for my money back several times with no response except --i will have to build them and sell them and give you a refund. what kind of shit is that? i have asked repeatedly for a refund and have yet to receive it. i thought the sponsers were suppose to take care of us. hell lately it seems as if i have recieved the short end of the stick. well i am unable to get ahold of him at all it seems. can anyone else help out here.

He prolly is reluctant to give the money back because he has already spent it. And on top of that the company is probably in the red.
I wouldn't be surprised if he tells you he's filed a Chapter 13.
Seen it happen twice so far. Not with them but with local shops around town.

I say if you can't get him pretty soon, sue that sucka.

P.S. May sound extreme but if it has been that long I would be wanting to see something for my money. I would also probably ask for a partial refund even after getting the heads. Can't mess around with these little mom and pop shops or they will screw ya over. But heck, your money....just my

hey Lance, do you have their address and formal information...I have access to some files to see if they have judgements, liens, or if they are going belly up. If they have a federal ID number that would be great, but I could probably find them with a legitimate company address and phone number better than the cell phone number on his website. Did you get any sort of receipt of payment or goods at all?

That's an awefully large id #...I'll see what I can dig up though. In the mean time...1600 bucks is alot of dough you should probably go to small claims court, flirt with the clerk and see what you can do to set a small claims case. They will most likely not show and you'll win a judgement. Lengthy, but better than nothing. I'll let you know in a couple of days if I hear anything from creit indeminity insurers...I get 10 free searches a year. We'll see.

Yeh werd that...file something with PayPal...it will get somebody's attention. They are apparently doing business out of their basement (pictures on their website give that away) they don't have much info on DNB or local IRS files for receivables and payble info.
