I bought a hayden 30,000gvw cooler, and my temps never exceed 165 in stop and go traffic in the middle of summer. Most the time they sit right 150. That thing is awesome, best investment for transmission longevity.

+1 on the 30,000 I haven't gotten it over 165 even with a few back to back runs at the track! Mostly 145-150 driving around for awhile.

    wells fellas,
i think it might be time to look into a bigger cooler. same set up im startin to see it go up to 200*...it does slip every now and then so i figured id rebuild it at the same time...ive seen on here that oregon transmissions has some decent prices and products..just wondering if there is a whole kit for everything...and if the valve body would also need replacing. i plan on doing vette servos or atleast billets or something or other along them lines...looks for suggestions.. thank you
