I know i have vibe problems from the shaft, but i couldn't resist, this new dodge truck (not sure what v8 size, does it really matter, lol) was right next to me at the light and i gave him a little tap on the gas and he looked over, i knew it was on.

hahah, lol, it was over before i hit the top of second gear, i think like 65mph. of course, he did a rice fly by after i blew his does off.

i love beating someone that bad, while squeeling thru first, and then literally getting like 45degs sideways in second.

they never give me a thumbs up after the kill, oh well

    see ya,

Plus they just look so heavy. I guess you will have to wait til the SRT-10 comes out to get some competition from dodge.

They are ugly. They remind me of Sanford and Son.

those guys with the hemis think they are the shit too, please, that's like chevy bringing back the SS badge and slapping it on the trucks, the current hemi isn't nothing to brag about, 345HP out of a hemi, wtf.
and dodges site says, it has 100more hp than it's predecesor, wtf on that one too, about time they get off thier asses and build a decent engine, but imo it's still nothing to brag about. of course it's easy to build an engine better than the old 318 and 360 v8's they used to have,
dodge welcome to the new age of decent gas mileage and power.

too bad they have all that power and are still loosing to the chevy's

Their idea of high performance is crap. What a way to devalue the name. I will give props to the viper, but they have nothing like the chargers and challangers of the late 60s and early 70s. Back then mopars were bad-ass!

It's just like Dodge to need a V10 to keep up with Chevy's V8, and Ford to need a supercharger to keep up with Chevy's NA V8 and none get the gas milage chevys get.

    heres my take.

    1. yes they're ugly, cept for a few of the lowered sports i've seen.(on aftermarket 20's)
    2. yes they're very heavy
    3. i think the HEMI is a great motor...i drive a 5.9/360 now. tad better mileage, lots more power and less ci...coil per cylinder technology(this sound familiar?) a majority of it is aluminum. and in the days of emissions testing gettin worse and worse, all it takes is a few mods and just like its brethren the SRT4 its a quick little fucker.

and heed the warnings...beware(til you get some good mods) there are quite a few blown 408 stroker motors runnin around texas, and a little ole turbo v-6 Dakota

as for thier idea for high performance, it hasnt even been displayed yet...
can you imagine a HEMI in a dakota? what about the Dodge Magnum(although very ugly) the jeep cherokee's, Durango's, and the charger thats still technically a "concept" but like Chevy's SS we know it wont be long before it hits the road. PVO(their perf division) means serious business from what ive heard.

as for the big cubes being needed to keep up, well i dont have much for that argument really as i have thought the same before. but with the turbo 4cyl SRT's(yeah i know its not N/A) they are keeping up, and when/if they bring back the charger with the HEMI i would expect it to compete.

    just

    and yeah im selling it
