I have the F-body cam and was wondering if I changed to heavier springs could I raise the shift points? Does anyone know the RPM range of this cam 198/209 .500 .500 119 LSA??? As in what point will it start to fall off? Thanks...Zed

That is about the same stock cam I have in mine, I'm pretty sure of it, I pull / shift to 6500rpms, even though the cam doesn't make power that high on the dyno, it pulls that hard.
I'd say about 58-5900 rpms for your truck.

hey zed there is a better cam for ya thats real cheap its the 207 198 500 500 115.5 it will give you a better lowend and about the same topend and you can still use the stock springs and rods , i think the 119lsa is going to hurt the lowend like it did 02denali later, kevin
