So tonight Simon (ss-perez) is sittin on the couch gets a message that says theres a tbss in town, down from OKC that wants to run. We go meet the guy, turns out i knew him, anyways its a cammed ls3(6.2l) long tubes, stall, tune the basics right, well simon was gonna run him on motor and decided against that when we heard it running, Dink showed up, and of course he had no nitrous, anyways we line up 3 deep, honk 3 times and we're off! simon is all kinds of sideways and pulls out about 4 lengths on the TBSS and stays there, Dink said he was about 3-4 behind the tbss, dink had no traction. By this time we realize this TBSS isnt messin around, we then go from a 20 the tbss and dink jump about a length on simon and slowly started pulling away. Dink and the TBSS stayed dead even til about 100 and then the tbss started pulling away, guy sayed he was on his way to rockwall and he knows you too Virgil his name is clay smitherman. He said when he gets it all tuned right he's gonna come back. Simon was just excited because no one had ever called him out til now. Clay said he has never raced it so tonight was his first time, we exchanged numbers so next time we go to the track he's gonna go too. So if you dallas guys see a black tbss with OK plates go get some.
