My 4l60A Is gone in my 2002 Silverado. I would like to do a T56 swap, but for some reason I heard that I can't do this swap, because of the crank. Is this true? How can I make this work?

2007c CCSB 2wd lowered 2/2 Stock!
2002 RCSB 2wd H/C 5.3l T56
LQ4, 243, 228R, Holley Hi Ram, 4L80e, 4.56 - in the works!
I don't think you would have any problems, they put a 5 speed behind the 4.8 and I don't think there is any difference between a 4.8 and a 5.3 or as far as that goes a 5.7 or 6.0. I know a guy in Michigan that has a new 04 model that had a 4.8/5 speed and he is putting a 6.0 and a T56 and hasn't had any problems.

I hope so. I think I was thinking of the 99 and 2000 6.0L blocks and the newer 4L60A.
