    243 vs 01 ls6 heads

Which heads would be better for a modified 5.3 or turbo 5.3

Only the 02's have the lighter valves.

01 LS6 heads had regular 243 valves with weaker "Blue" springs.

02 got the light valves and yellow springs and LS2 243's got the
    yellow springs too.

For turbo unmilled 243s would work awsome because of the larger combustion chamber. For N/A though, you would lose power.

You will lose a lot of compression if you put the 6.0 heads on a 5.3 because of the bore difference.

all the 243s mentioned have 64.5cc chambers

if you install these on a 4.8/5.3 your CR would be 9.1
