I just bought a new 2004 Silverado so the old one has to go. It looks like a lot of people on this forum are from Texas, so I'm posting to see if anyone's interested in buying my 2000. I hate selling cars and trying to BS with people so I'm going to post as much information upfront and honest to save extra questions and hassel so here it is:
2000 Silverado 1500 2wd LS regular cab/short bed
Pewter Metallic with graphite interior
5.3 Auto 3.73 w/factory locking diff
Power windows/locks/mirrors tilt/cruise
Dimming R/V mirror w/temp/compass
Factory aluminum rims w/255/70R16's
Fog lights
AM/FM CD
103K miles
$9000
Sorry, I don't have a good digital camera for pics. It looks about like any 4 1/2 year old truck, the paint still looks good but does have a few minor paint chips/scratches/dings etc. No major damage and never wrecked. Interior is in great shape, I'm a non-smoker.
Only problems I've had with the truck are: rebuilt the 4L60E at 52K, the fuel guage is inaccurate, and it seems to have a very slow coolant leak. I add a little every few months when it coolant light comes on. It's never had any trouble with cooling or overheating, I just can't seem to see the spot it's leaking from without taking things apart and I haven't felt it's bad enough. FYI it seems to be in the water pump area.
Only mod is a stock replacement K&N.
I've ran it a few times at the track and get consistant 10.0's in the 1/8.
Only time at the 1/4, 3 passes averaged about 15.50, about 3 years ago.
