    04' tranny help

hi guys, new to the forum. i have a 04' silverado 1500 5.3. i read through a bunch of stuff on here and have an idea what my problem is but would like ur thoughts on it. recently my tranny has been slipping from 1 to 2nd under normal driving conditions but if i stand on it, it shifts just fine. so i need more pressure and every couple days i notice it from 2-3. so i need a vette servo or tune. if you could give me a direction to go and it would be greatly appreciated. also i couldn't fine a write up on the servo install.
    thanks for any help

By the time you feel that it probably needs more than mods, probably needs rebuilt.

Mine will do that in 2nd also right when it's shifting to 2nd....let off, it grabs then everything is fine. Happens like maybe once a week. Only 41k miles on it. I'm installing the vette servo and transgo anyway to see how long it lasts. Once it goes I'll go either 4l80 or built 60. Mine is the same way under full throttle, doesn't slip at all. Just everynow and then when your baby'n it, it slips shifting to 2nd.

Possible debris in valve body or sticking valve that frees up under higher line pressures.

its not too bad, it only does it once in a while under the right load. i think i'll just the vette servo and see how thats changes it. for $25 can't hurt. thanks the for the responses, if anyone else has any advice keep it coming.
