    Cool noob from Conroe, TX

    what up peeps!! im new to the performance side of the house, but ive been a mechanic since i left high school. i own a white 02' silverado 1500HD with a 6.0L (thats the main thing that got me when i saw it). the trucks got way too many miles over 250,000 and i payed too much for it. also, its got a bug gurad, the lil water deflectors on the windows, a nice lil sterio system, and some 20' that are way too big for the truck. yeah, they frikkin rub when i back in up while turning and or the suspension compresses any when the wheels are turned. but i didn't put the hideous things on there!! honest. the dude before me did thats all im gonna about that. lol, my dumba$$ just keeps replacing the rubber instead of replacing the rims. ill post some pics soon..

    i feel better now that ive vented. ive been looking into rebuilding the engine. last year i was planning dumpin like 25K into the truck i.e. 408ci and stuff a D1SC under the hood with a lil suspension and drive train mods. but then there is that new roots style that just came out and ive always been a fan of turbos..

    ah!! Too many options and im one of the most wishy-washy people you may ever meet. not even sure if the truck it worth sinking like 5-25K into. ive never seen a 1500HD with 8 lugs. but it is payed off..

    Welcome to the site there's tons of good info on here, and plenty different ways to spend 25K easily.

    Have fun with it and lets see some pictures of that thing!
