    2200 stall

    Well my 4l60 decided that it liked first gear so much that it will no longer leave it. I am having it rebuilt by a local guy who has done some others before for me and my dad, but anyway. I originally want a 2800-3000 stall but sence i am at school my dad took the truck in the guy talked him out of the 3000 and is going to put in a 2200 not sure on the brand. But do you think I will notice a difference over the stock converter?

    Youll notice a slight difference man, but If possible see if you can get the stall you want. I dont know why someone would talk your dad out of a 3000 stall? See if you can go bigger cause 2200 isnt a big difference at all. I have a Trailblazer Stall and mine stalls to 2400ish and I def. want bigger but needed something to get by on as a broke college student

    If you go to a 3000 stall though, see if you can get a tranny cooler installed, they are pretty cheap. I have the 40k unit and got mine for 45$.

    I would find out the brand. I think the reworked TB stall can go higher then that and probably cost the same. If thats how the salesman talked him out of the 3k

    5.3, small cam, 918 springs, 7.4 rods, walboro pump, Full built 4l60, 2800-3000 stall, TB spacer, long tubes, cat delete, single 3" exhaust with Aero bullit muffler. Flaco tuned.

    They are really good about shipping and everything and are good priced. Get the Tru-cool 40k unit. Shift kits and servos are cheap too if you want an add-on for it.

    Yea man, realized I actually payed that much for it. I guess I just forgot. I did buy a 25k unit for my old 03 reg cab and it costed around 40$ though

    Dude my stock one brake stalls at almost 2200. Maybe it's my 6000 lbs and 6.0?

    Well theres no way to get the 3000 i personally am not fronting the bill right now i don't have the money and i need a way to back and forth to school so. the tranny guy said sense i not running on the strip theres no need for a 3000 stall. I have tried to get the 3000 but sense i am not there and the old man wont listen to me so its not likely going to happen. Last time I braked stalled mine I think I only got 1900 its a stock 4.8. I planned on doing a 80e swap this summer when i graduate I really just need this trans to last till may. I am going to install a tranny cool in a few weeks when get the truck back and get home from school to get it. Any one got a good link to tranny cooler?
