Well, it was about 12:30 last night, coming home from the bar. I noticed a freshly polished and new 2004 Ford F-150 Reg Cab/Short Bed. Black with 18-20" chromed wheels. I pulled up next to him at the stoplight, both of our lanes turned and we were turning the same direction. I had put it in drive already anticipating him wanting to try me, but as we turned and accelerated, he kinda lagged back. I wrote it off that he just wasn't jumpy. I had pulled to about 2 truck lengths ahead of him and then I noticed he jumped on it and was gaining. I guess he had to get a running start. Now mind you I had the crew cab and 4 people total in the truck too for added weight. I waited, waited, waited, I goosed it once to let him know I was interested, and let him get to a full truck length ahead of me and I nailed it. The farthest lead he had was about a truck and a half on me. I gained on him fast, and past him up doin about 110, but he didn't give up so I slowed down and let him get door to door with me and I nailed it again, and this time I really jumped his ass, he never got past my nose. I had fun doing this all the way home, which wasn't far from where we were at the time.
Just thought I'd share this with the group.
