    '05 5.3L / 4L65E Powertrain...

    What's a good selling price?

Motor I have has 28,000 miles on it when I installed it a few months ago.

    Comp 224/224 Cam
    Comp 918 Springs
    Comp 7.400 Pushrods
    ARP 2000 Rod Bolts
    P&P'd Throttle Body
    Heads Shave 0.040"

Transmission held up well with many performance parts in it (from a PT sponsor). Shifts really well after seven 13-second passes @ SCR. Probably forgetting all that's in it, but...

    BW High Energy Clutches
    46-MOD (Vacuum Mod)
HD2 Shift Kit (NO WASHERS USED)
    Sonnax 2nd & 4th Servo
    FLT Output Shaft
    Kevlar 2-4 Band
    FLT Reverse Input Clutch Housing
    Beast Sun Shell
    5-Pinion Planetary
    Upgraded Forward Sprag (NOT OEM)

I'm looking to go another direction with the truck, or maybe sell as-is for the right price. :hmmm: I'd like to find a solid '67 - '71 Camaro, but odds of that are slim!

Please.... no posts about how I'm gonna miss having the truck. I'm not dependent upon having a truck bed. I have means of hauling stuff around. If I keep it & go in another performance direction, great. If I can sell it for a reasonable price, that's great too.

Are you selling the truck or just the driveline?

Was thinking of selling the powertrain, but can't really do it until I sell my house. I spent a little time today swapping in my auxilary gas tank with a new pump & filter. So far, the lean condition has disappeared, and the throttle response is PERFECT. I took a look at the old pump, and looked as if the suction side of it was bo'd outward slightly. Seemed to work fine, but certainly not providing adequate pressure.

I would like to drop in an SBC motor with a built 700R4 (I know where to go for that), but with finances being tighter this year, I have to put a lot on hold. Keeping things as they are for the moment. Just curious of what things go for nowadays. Still surprises me how value drops over time.
