Ok guys winter took a hit on my truck. So I slipped on the ice grabbing my mirror only to try and stop myself when **** went the mirror. it didnt brake off just something inside that keeps it from turning. Anyone know if this is a ez fix or do I have to get a whole new mirror? Thanks for the help!!!

Not really enough information for anyone to even hazard a guess. List what type of mirrors you have, all the things it STILL DOES, all the things it DOES NOT DO, and maybe a couple pics if the damage is visible.

can take teh mirror apart without breaking the glass. i hit a turkey vulture with my Passenger side back in june and it broke the glass clean out of the mirror. its cheaper to buy a new mirror off of ebay thats as close to you have and install a whole new one. mine were power, and had the blinkers. needless to say. the glass cracked when i was trying to put it in. i was so pissed and just left it. can hardly tell unless u stare at it for a couple more seconds than usual!

Yes but if there is anything more than the glass broken it will need a new mirror....hence my questions.
slap a new mirror on and be done with it!
