    check valve

I think the check valve is bad in my walbro 255. Does anybody know a way to add a check valve to the fuel line to keep my pressure from falling?

its really not that big of a deal. just cycle key twice and catch it on the 2nd cycle. others learned to live with it so can you. its going to cost you more money then its worth to splice one into your stock lines

It's actually a really big deal because my truck is surging at wot due to low fuel pressure. I'm guessing the check valve in the pump is bad so as soon as pressure builds up it's released. I've heard these walbros are infamous for this problem. When I'm at wot the motor surges really bad especially at higher speeds (interstate driving, 75-85). If I were to put in a check valve it would be able to keep the fuel pressure up, right? Thought putting a check valve inline would be just a little big easier than dropping the tank down. But then again I didn't buy a brand new pump for it not to work properly.

check valve is only going to help ya at start up after that if your having issues its the pump, injectors, regulators, lines, fittings and etc. check valve has nothing to do with it running

Alright, Thanks for the help. I'm going to pull the pump first thing in the morning and see if I can figure out what's going on.
