Would it be worth it?

My truck has 150 thousand on it now. I plan on lots of upgrades but it will take time to round everything up. Would it be worth the time and money to do a Nelson tune now and then do it again when I am done. I would say it will take a year to find all the stuff to do what I want to do. The truck is a stock and I mean bone stock 4.8 SWB 2002. My plan is to put a 6.0 and 4L80e in and a magna blower new cam and headers. The truck will just be a driver not planing any drag racing just a little pulling my car to some shows that are to far to drive the car to.

If it's a year, do it now! 6 weeks? I'd wait.
