Exclamation Loud Clanging noise coming from the front driver's side

Hey guys, once again i have a problem. I was driving the other day and i noticed a slight clicking noise coming from the front drivers side. As the day went on, it progressively got worse and worse. Now it makes a loud clanging noise and it looks like my cv axle is trying to pop out of the knuckle. The cv axle end is rubbing on the inside of the knuckle. My tire is kind of bowed in. What is this? Could it be a bad wheel bearing? How would i go about fixing this?

Sounds like a common hub bearing dead. It's even more likely with the GIANT tires and wheels since they're more failure prone than a 200K mile 4L60E...

Lift that corner and check for play in the bearing/hub.

Damn, i will do that.. How much do you think this will cost to get fixed? I do know one thing, it's rendered me immovable, i haven't left my house since yesterday mornin and it sucks. also, the last time i did drive it, smoke was comin from the caliper. Idk what's causin that but it'll prolly need replaced too..

Roughly $500 retail for the part from GM. Expect to pay near $125-200 labor plus tax, etc. retail. Do it yourself if you have the tools and some friends.

Pretty much the same hub bearing on a 2WD as well. Takes me about 13 minutes to swap on the lift but I'm probably too far away from you.
