    what size?

i am changing my gears out, but i am trying to decided between 4.10s and 4.56s, i currently have 3.73s. I have 33 in tires right now, i want to go to 35 in tires, and then i also pull a 4-5k lb trailer everyweekend. what size should i go?

How far you pull the trailer?

You won't see that much of a difference from going 3.73 to 4.10. But you will definitely notice the change to a 4.56!

if your towing, i would go with the 4.56's. you may lose some gas mileage, but that thing would be a dog with the 4.11's.

i have 33's with the 3.73's and it had a hard time trailering an '86 chevy 30 miles

My brother has 02 ECSB Z71 5.3 35's with 4.56 and it is the perfect gear tire combo for light towing and street/highway driving. Tows great and still gets about 15/16mpg highway unloaded.
