Is this on the truck or the Denali? The Denali has 25 computers on the data line. The truck probably has at least 15. Since the data bus is being used to transmit more information every year and data transmission saves wiring (not only its complexity but its weight, yes it matters, ask the EPA and CARB), sensors are not wired to all modules that use the data. They are wired to the module that can make most use of the data (in most cases) then that module transmits the sensor data via Class2 data lines to other modules that need the sensor information.
All that being said, you need to check the DTC's in the EBCM and other modules related to the symptom. The ECM/PCM will not usually care about ABS or stability DTC's unless it is related to traction control (since the ABS has wheel speed sensor data but the ECM has control over the electric throttle).
Does that makes sense?
You need a TechII.
