    When good underdrive pulleys go bad...

    Anyway, put the stocker back on. This is what was causing the squealing every time I would crank the steering wheel.

    Going to get it replaced under warranty I hope. Don't feel like messing with swapping it again, so I'll be selling the new one and putting the money toward a meth kit or something.

    Anyway, glad it held up long enough for me to replace it. Would have sucked to be sitting on the side of the road with chewed up belts and who knows what else...

    EDIT: Not posting this to down ASP...I've never heard of them doing this before. Just a heads-up for you guys running them to keep an eye on them.

    Im never doing underdrive pulleys again anyways probably. Ive heard about this incident before on another vehicle and they are an extreme P.I.T.A. to get on and off cam swaps. Especially when the seller does not supply you with special bolts needed to pull it off lol! I dont even think I can take my UD Pulley off but one more time anyways lol

    I still need to contact ASP. I would think they would replace it.

    They're not really bad to replace - pretty quick actually with the right tools.

    Anyway, here's hoping...

    Did you get yours from Hitman X?

    Im pretty sure The Pulley has like a 2 yr warranty of somethin like that?

    dont know how long you had it, i mentioned ASP for the simple fact of at lease letting them know about it.. maybe could be some kind of defect or something.. anyway good luck and lets hope they do..

    I think this is a fluke. I've never heard of them doing this and there's guys out there making more HP than me running them with no issues. Not that it's necessarily HP related, but...
