V8 as in 4.6L Stang motor, and how much does that car weigh...?
They're cool for big Ford cars I guess, but rather have a Marauder.

Eh, not to be a jerk...but it has a 3.9L V8. And it put out somewhere around 260 hp--not sure of the specific number unless I go back and look it up. But still...the car doesn't weigh THAT much. I have never been in/seen a V8 LS run, but i would imagine it to be decently quick...
Even the Marauder was a slow PIG. You would think with the 302 hp motor it would do better...I would put money on the fact that a V8 LS could outrun a Marauder...

Aww yeah, easily. I know the Marauders are slow, I just think they look cool. Guess I didn't have my facts straight, never heard of the 3.9.

Well, I haven't researched it lately, but my memory tells me that (once after Ford bought Jaguar) it was sourced from their 4.0L V8 that was used in the XJ models. It was a decent little motor...

When I am on buis trips I usually get the lincoln LS with the V8 as a rental. The car is no slouch. And with the manual automatic it is fun to drive and very comfortable. I would say it would beat a stock 5.3 without much issue.

My sister used to own a 2001 model. They are 3.9L V8s and they do have a little bit of get up to them.
