I'm about to get a 03 Silverado in a couple weeks. I was just wanting to get some opinions about the best/loudest exhaust for these trucks. My friend has true dual Flowmaster 10 series on his 08 Tahoe and it sounds loud but it also has a nice tone. I was thinking true dual 10 series with 3 inch pipe for this truck. Also considering the cherrybomb extremes.
Straight pipe,no mufflers,no cats and true duals....it will be very LOUD!

I would suggest Pacesetter headers, Off road y pipe, 3 inch exhaust, to either a bullet, or a single chamber muffler, dumped strait down. Strait pipe is very loud, but it doesnt sound as good, as the same thing with a race muffler. IMO.

it was one of the quietest trucks there!!!
I like the 30 series Flowmaster sound because of the tune of rumble it gives. 50 series would be the loudest with turndowns. My V6 sounds like a freaking V8.
