    Header work really required??

Probably a month ago I checked with an exhaust shop to get some ideas of price. Installing pacesetter lts.

Mine is w/air, for o2 sensor not sure though. The guy there was saying header work will probably be needed to make them fit.. wondering if that has any truth behind it. Mainly cause pacesetter sells lts for the truck, I wouldn't think that would be needed. Any thoughts?

At 65 bucks an hour, I really don't want lots of work to be done.

The only thing I would do is invest in V-Bands instead of using the u-bolts that come with it. Other than that the install takes about 2 hours start to finish. Be sure to spray some liquid wrench on the exhaust manifold bolts about an hour before you plan to get started.

Yeah its the egr. Sits just behind the first tube going to the manifold right. And a hose goes from that area on the right manifold up to what i would guess the egr.

Yeah when that dbag started talkin money my back pocket started burning..

banker099: lazy! oh harsh! lol. Yeah will do it myself. didn't realize how easy it is.

Thought it required welding. After lookin in my haynes book.. suddenly got real simple! That book is awesome.
