tow haul inop

i tried my tow haul for the first time since my tranny swap. i pressed in the button a couple of times and it never came on. Then a about mile down the road it came on and wouldnt turn off. i put it in neutral and tried to cycle the key. Another thing it would restart in neautral. any ideas?

Restarting in N shouldn't have anything to do with the T/H button. Sometimes the small wires behind the column shift boot break....if there was an open there, the light would be inop, if the wires shorted together, maybe it would be on all the time.

well, i thought maybe it was the switch. it will work sometimes and then it doesnt want to switch off
