    drop hangers and torsion keys?

First question is with the drop hangers...When installing them do you need to c-notch the frame or not? I've heard from some friends that you do for clearance, but on trucks tv this morning they said no. I already did the drop shackles, but I want a lower stance.

Second question is basically how hard are the torsion keys to swap out (what has to be done) and do they give you enough drop to be worth it?

On my 91 I installed 2" shackles/2" hangars one time...and It wasn't low enough so i did a flip kit and c-notch and never had a problem since!!

But seriously folks, I think it bottomed out a few times quite hard..just gotta be more careful when driving a loweed truck.

I don't know about the hangers because I went with 3" Belltech drop leafs. Keys are cheap & easy to intall. I got 2" on mine from them. If I was going to do it again, I would have went with drop spindles up front.
    Gone, but not forgotten!
