    dad got a new truck..

well my dad just picked up a 07 2500 HD.. as i understand it has a 6L with 353hp and a 6 speed 4wd. it has 27 miles, never titled. he tows and cleans boats so his 92 ford with old tired 351 was straining under the weight of these new boats.

he thinks he can take my old 02 with mods listed.. truck has gone 8.9 with my pos performabuilt stall.

do yall think he's got me? and can anyone provide me with some build specs? (rear end, weight, trans specs)
    02 Sierra... motorless for now.
02 SS.. stock bottom 4.8, 241's, 224-220/116+4, 918's and pushrods, front mount turbonetics 78mm, HKS GTII, TiAL, eBoost2, Yank PT3600, Performabuilt 60e, solid motor mounts. Tuned by me with HP Pro and LM2/AFX

    I don't think he's going to touch a 13.9.

Not gonna happen for him. I have one just like it at work and it's no where close to a 8.9 1/8th or a 13.9 1/4.

His truck should have a 14 bolt w/ 3.73's and mine has the 6 spd 6L80e with manual gear selection on the shifter.

    Hey Douche Nozzle...a "6 speed 4L80e" is a 6L80e. MORON.
The 6 = number of forward gears, the L = mounted Longitudinally (front to back, RWD setup), the 80 = 8,000 lbs GVW, and the e = electronically controlled.

I'm sure someone already called this but I don't feel like reading all of the replies.... a 6 speed would be a 6l80e

Shoot me! It's nice to know that you all are smart enough to catch it. Still, you got what I was saying smart a$$es, either way it's a 6 speed. 6L80e, I'll go fix it.

Either way I sure wouldn't mind having it. I would trade my 5 speed for one.
