    Bought a cam!!!!

I did it. I bought a 226/236 .525/.525 110lsa GM asa cam. Could not pass it up cause it was So cheap and still new in box. I was planning on buying the Z06 springs and some hi-tech comp pushrods. Anyone have a better idea for the springs or rods? Also I know Ill need a crank bolt, a retune and some beer. But what else will I need? And wich one of yooz guyz is gunna help me put the damn thing in? I was going to put the locker and gears in next but I guess Ill wait a few weeks.

I saw in you sig that you had a 4.8? If so, I think that cam might be a little big? I have a 224/224 and it was a pain to get to idle right.
    2004 RCSB lowered 2/4 with boss 330 22" black wheels. 4.8 w/ Pacesetter LTs, ORY, 3" cutout, K&N 77 intake, 224/224 on 112 Lunati cam, 160 t-stat, W4M tune.

The 110 lsa is what scares me for a 4.8. But that cam isnt to big the lift is only .525 which isnt that big at all. GL on the swap. i would get some efans too if yuo dont already have them

tune will straighten out the idle.youll be fine.if snything just raise the idle sum.my cam s only like 550 and it doesnt idle great at 6-650 but idles perfect at 7-750.itll be fine.110 is a steep lsa but itll lope for sure.good luck,

I'll try to help you out also, i have never done a cam in these engines before, i do have a cam removal / install tool that is handy for getting the cam in and out. Ask Kurt DBTBSS he is doing a cam swap on his tbss right now im sure he would be a great big help. Ricky should know how to get ahold of him....
