beat a 99 1500!

so i was coming home one night from my local grocery store, and then I saw this dark blue 99 Silverado 1500, which i think is my friends truck. So i open my window and i said hey whats up Tom? he say whats up too...Anyway I noticed he had new seats on the truck so I asked "hey did you get new seats? he said "yeah they're new". So anway green light turned on and we raced. my Impala was having hard time at first but then I just smoked past him oohhh yeah!! smoke that dude. His truck has a 5.3 vortec ( i know that cause I changed oil on it for him) and flowmaster exhaust. and you know my car has bone stock in it except for top quality lubricants like Royal Purple synthetic oil and Dexron VI ATF!!!! so anyway I came home so thrilled that I have to tell my wife all about it!!

and one more racing story about my Impala, I was out with my friends and I was talking on the cell with my brother and we saw this 07 Silverado Z71 ext cab with a Pontiac solstice about to race. I saw them took off and I decide "hmm let me join in" so I was talking simultaneoulsly with my brother while driving and then I smoke past them. I think they werent even racing. It loooks like they were until they slow down somehow, i mean they were lined up and then they go..vrrrrooom. So anway I smoked them felt so good!!!

You need to ditch that Hypercrap on your 08 and get a REAL TUNE. As one by Nelson or Wheatley. Oh, and another thing--how can a Z71 be a 2WD truck? Did they change the packaging around for the newer vehicles to where you can get Z71 accessories on a 2WD model?

In o7 you could start to get the z71 offroad package in 2wd just like the colorados I guess you got to watch out for those 3.4 now too

I outran a 99 5.3 reg cab silvy with just a muffler, intake and tune. Right Brian? and I only ran a 16 flat at the time. you didnt out run a solstice btw... they werent racing.
