I was crusing around tonight on one of the local streets where everybody races and i came across a 2002 chevy scsb with dual exhaust. As i glance over the dude is staring at the hood on my truck as most people do so i rev up my truck trying to pick a race. So he goes for it and he leaves me by about 1/2 a length through 1st and second gears but when i got to third i pull back up on him and by fourth i had him by a half a length. Then his speed limiter kicked in and he fell back. What do the new trucks run? I dont know if he had the 4.8 or 5.3 but i was kind of shocked at the fact that i could beat a new truck. when we got to the next light i asked him but all i could get out of the dude before the light turned green was 2002 then he took off again. I am still impressed with the new trucks but i thought for sure i would get my ass handed to me. my best guess was that he had the 4.8L.

With my 04 scsb 5.3, with 1 flowmaster dumped an AEM intake, I ran anywhere from a 15.50-15.26. But that is going by my friends G-tech unit, wich most people say is really accurat. I have not been to the track yet, I will post as soon as I go.

Ill run you no nitrous in my 85 thunder. Can you step it up a notch to run a mid 13 on slicks? Your 4.8 will whip the shit out of my 91.
