    What do yall thank

    well i call hpe and mti to see what cam they recomend for my truck because i want to buy a yank next week and cant decide on a tt2600-tt3000, well anyway the cam that mti said i should go with is there x1 (230/227 591/571 112) and hpe said a 224/230 114 i dont remeber the lift from what i have learn on here aren't these a little big for my 5.3 ccsb, and what converter should i go with

    No man MTI was way off.... HPE sugestion was a little better but still too much cam IMO......Also becareful of HPE ..I had a bad experiance dealling with chuck over there...Are you planing to stay NA ?

    it depends on wut you are gonna due with the truck....all around good cam is the 220/220 but definitely get a stall with it 2600 and up

    wow yea those are big cams for a 5.3 jeez they must think u have a race truck

    I have a comp 216/220 525/535 114 In my trruck and drive it everyday and pull a trailer...i love it

    COWL327's cam would be about perfect for you...especially with a crewcab...you need the torgue down low to get off the line...anything higher than a 220/220 and i dont think would be a good DD with a crew cab...

    i was running a 220/220 581/581 @112 on my scsb with a 5.3...... drove it everyday

    im stepping up to a bigger one now... but the 220 was a real good DD cam

    I have a 220/220 .551/.551 112 LSA in my 4.8l and its a daily driver... has an ok lope to it...
    2004 4.8l 6 speed manual 2wd
    Looks: 22" foose rims with Fierce tires, SS front bumper, SS Front Grill, 2/3 lowering kit.

    224/230 seems to be workin fine for me, as far as i know, havent had it very long with that cam i wouldnt go less than a 3000 ive even heard my 3000 is to small for that cam but i really need to take to the track before knowing for sure.
