I put the melling high pressure high volume pump on my 6L. I will let everyone know how it all works. It is a nice pump, and had no issues with it clearing my comp billlet double roller timing chain. It will be running within a couple weeks.

Just put the hp/sv on my 6l today. I used the shims that came with timing set. Pump to chain is great. Pump to front cover is bad. I will try it tomorrow without the shims.

Im running the Melling in my 5.3. I used the low pressure relief spring and it sits at 40 psi at idle and like 60 at cruising and 80 at wot.

shims with timing set? or shims with pump? either way youll need to modify the inside of the timing cover, the pump will hit the chain if the shims arent in place. i know with a melling anyway!
