That was me doing all the work. If you are careful you wont cut yourself on the lobes of the cam plus I can feel how the cam is moving through the bearings better without anything on my hands. His cam was a B**** to get back in, a couple of the lifters in the rear werent staying up the cups and it took forever to get it in there without dinking the cam bearings.

Yeah, good call Wade---it was... I used up like 2 cans of Brake Clean on it...cleaned the intake, the valve covers, etc... The new heads were fresh from the machine shop and clean. We pretty much took the whole top half of the motor off and cleaned it. Cody spend HOURS cleaning the top of the block, the cylinder walls and the piston heads. Thumbs up for Cody's cleaning job! And it was good meeting Daniel, Cody, and Wade this past weekend. I am glad that Daniel's truck was able to start and not make any more noises! Phew! A long ass day of doing everything by-the-book for it NOT to run awesome... Daniel--anymore update for us on how the truck is running?
