    ASP underdrive pulley question

this might sound like a dumb question, but would I need a shorter belt or would my tensioner pick up the extra slack created by the smaller pulley set up?

I got my harmonic balancer and alternator pulley as a kit and it did not come with a pulley--just a part number to match up when you go buy it. But don't always trust the part number. I would suggest buying a couple belts that are of similar length and then seeing which one fits the best. When you find it, take the others back and get your refund...
