    ebay cam

Is this cam ideal for my 01 ext cab 2wd? The only mods I have are a exhaust and K&N filter. I will also be getting a nelson tune on the next GP! I have plans to eventually do more up grades (at least heads and bigger cam, but maybe 6.0 or LS1) later on after I finish a bunch of exterior mods!

    Thanks

there is a 212/218 cam in the for sale section that would be better, but several people have used the ls1 cams with good results.

    I found a 01 zo6 cam and springs for $150. Would this be a better deal/cam?

    Thanks

people have had good reults on the dyno, but the power comes in pretty high. If it was me I would get the 212/218 cam and some z06 springs. Think you would like the power curve better, especially if it is on a 114 lsa with 4* of advance ground in. The advance will help the power come in early where a truck need it. That is just my opiniom, otheres will tell you different.

If you dont have a converter with a higher stall I would do that first. You would make a much better gain than just the cam.
