    Thumbs up

Hey Allen I'm thinking of taking the cam out and putting back my 4.8 cam or a newer 4.8 cam. Just wondering if with the PCM programming we have on it now will the stock cam run in it with no problems?
    Thanks for the help,
    Steven

Nothings wrong with the cam. It requires alot of tuning and I plan on a different motor later. I just want to put the stock one or a newer truck cam back in and mess with it later.

Sorry to sidetrack your thread again, just had a question I couldn't help but asking. How does that cam run (216,220) in terms of driveability with the Nelson tune? What are the idle characteristics, low end grunt and such? Reason being is because I'm getting a cam really similar to that, with 4 degrees less duration on the intake side and 2 less on the exhaust, and a hair less lift on a 4.8. If you could answer my question I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks

The cams is awesome has great low end with my TT3000 but it does require a bunch of tuning. The cam I have seems to make the idle surge a bit especially with the a/c or defroster on. Other than that the everyday drivability is great. Hope this helps.

Another hijack on your thread... Do you plan on selling that cam once it comes out?

Hey, sorry for the delay, ya, we'll need to put your air / fuel / spark and rpms back the way they were, that cam pulls higher and requires more air at idle so we'll need to scale the rpms and air back.

Are you going to be in town someday, I wouldn't mind taking a look at it?

    thanks,

    allen

Not sure if it will be coming out yet or not but if I do yank it I will put it up for sell.

Hey Allen I will be putting my stock exhaust back on this week (flowmasters are loud&#33 and would like to get with you once again and see if we can get it to idle a bit better. Are you going to be around this weekend?
