Free Mod List?? Is there such a thing?

Ok, ive done a couple searches and didnt really find anything.

I want to get a run down of all the free mods or very cheap mods i can do to my 03 silverado 5.3L that will help make more power and hopefully increase MPG.

One i will be doing that is essentially free for me, as i have had the muffler new in the box since 2001, is cutting out the stock muffler and installing a dynomax ultraflow welded 2.5 in/out muffler, just cantr decide if i want to dump it or hook up the stock tailpipe, ill proably hook up the tailpipe as i dont want it to be to loud, just a nice mellow rumble.

Thanks for the info on this guys, much appreciated.

What Jeff said. To expound a little:

The throttle body bypass isn't really worth the time. It won't hurt anything - just won't help enough to make a difference.

Cut a 4"± hole in the bottom of your stock airbox and the metal tray underneath. Plug the stock holes in the airbox. That will give a little better airflow.

It's gutsy doing it yourself unless you're just really comfortable with a Dremel. You can screw it up really quick.

There aren't really any free mods that will make much of a difference.

Inexpensive: Make your own cold air intake, get a large cone filter from a parts store.

Your best bet is to save up for a tune. All future mods will benefit from it.

If you're still not sure what to do, read those last two sentences again.

    Cheap, Fast, and Good.

You usually can only pick 2...............
    2006 1500 CC/SB with the 5.3L and Nelson PCM.
soon to come is a intake and exhaust. (wifes truck)

Other vehicle is a 03 2500HD CC/SB 6.6L DMAX straight piped and Edge stacked with Superchips and gauges, Loves to eat rice for sure! Fartcan exhaust makes it better!

With the cost of everything rising, I was looking for a way to supplement my income, even if just a little, from home. A neighbour mentioned they occasionally play games on casino glory, specifically because it offers bonuses that make sense for players from Pakistan. Skeptical but curious, I tried a few sessions of bingo and scratch cards. The low entry cost and the clear bonus terms meant I could play cautiously. While it's not a guaranteed income, it has provided a few unexpected wins that have genuinely helped with weekly groceries, making it a practical little side activity.
