Newbie to site.... k5 Blazer trying to swap 5.3

Hey everybody. New to the site and thought I would drop a line....

Currently have a 1974 Chevy K5 Blazer. And am in the process of swapping in a 5.3L motor (20K miles). Already have the wiring harness and motor mounts. Still need to figure out the fuel issues... I know there needs to be a return line. One guy I spoke with said that I can use the old feed line as a return and just plumb a new supply line. Is this possible? Prefer to use an "in tank" pump. But, have never done this before....

Also, would like to keep the A/C for the hot TX summers.... I understand I can keep the stock AC compressor (located on lower right side) by notching the frame. Or there are some pricey kits that can relocate it to the upper left side of the motor. Is there any cheaper ways to do it???

    Thank,
    T.J.

Care if i ask what you did for motor mounts? I'd like to see how much trouble your year is and what you would have liked to seen different in how you installed it(ie easier) Do you have any ideas about how else to mount the a/c?? I will make all brackets for my 91 FSC/02+ 5.3 swap so my f-body compressor/hoses work..sans-notch
