    oil pump

first things first, after a new cam/ spring/ pushrod instal (comp) i broke my stock rocker, lifter, new spring and bent a valve, i removed several netal bearings from the head. i removed the heads had them send out and manley 2.02 1.57 valves, comp sent me all new rockers ( promangum 1.75s ) lifters push rods, and spings. i put everything together it ran great i drove it for the night and parked it, the next day i come home start it and theres no oil pressure, i cracked the filter and start it and theres nothing. so i removed the front diff, took down the oil pan, removed the remain neetal bearings, and replaced the oil pump ( the old one the check valve was closed), after the once again the truck ran great for about 2 weeks and then i broked another rocker, the brand new rocker, luckily there was no damage to the head, i inspceted everything no other cracks, a clean break this time one sliver alu in the head and that was it, i put the truck back together and now i have no oil press again, i am very angry to say the least, what else could be getting into my pump to clog that checkvalve? i am currently working on taking that pan back down again

maybe you need to mill the inside of the valve cover

i just removed the pump, there was very small fine peices metal once again holding that checkvalve up, i cant belive after 700 miles it did the same thing as the other pump, it looks like its deffently small enof to fit though the pickup screen

Did you flush out the oil passages at any time after the first rocker arm breaking? Did you find the cause of the rocker arm breaking? Could have had some junk circulated through the block that finally accumulated on the new pump. wonder if the spring broke first then valve dropped on piston.....
