Drove a Viper truck today. It sat good as in I liked the seat. My wife likes the way the front looks. Performance wise. Well I thought it would have been better.
It only made me want my truck faster and completely different seats.

99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.
yeah they just seem like a waist to me. If they were crazy about a 500hp v10 truck they shoulda put it in the dakota, lighter and all, plus I think the new dodge front ends are butt ugly, the only ones I ever liked were the 00ish models,
@ the track i watch a pair of NEW 07 Reg cabs... (possibly 08s? only went 14.40s... Bolth were RCSB .... but another guy came by my shop and said his 03/04 model went 13.20s RCSB also.... thats decent for stock ! but who the hell can afford to Mod one ?? My dentist said 10,000 for Headers/exhaust on his !!! 7,000 in parts and 3,000 for install ( He has a Viper GTS...)

yeah but lets say you bought a srt/10 for err $35000. Instead buy a silvy for $15-$20k and put $15k in parts. then see who is fastest. I always look at things that way.
I said this 10 months ago, when I was looking at a srt10, my truck(2005 vho) was paid up and I had the money(sell my truck, had a buyer and add to the pot) to get a srt10, I found one in texas took it for a drive(my first time in one) and wow not that fastcame back home a few week later I ran across a srtQcab (I was still stock few small mods/tune) out of 3 runs i got him once and he got me twice not by much
I was going to have Allen put a turbo and etc but he is so far away(he is a great guy to deal with). so I want with a MP122HH S/C, cam, etc(had the blower, cam and trans done local) the truck runs great(still doing tuning and replacing a third cam swap) the last time at the track(tune night) with street tires and the tuner with me we did a 12.5 with lots more on the table
I know I will see 11's when finish(end feb 08), and getting 17 mpg(when I stay out of boost
) were the srt is 9 mpg.
vff_jeff quote is about right on it, and you can have a truck the way you want it ChevyPower
I'm not trying to talk my truck up its not that special compare to the great trucks I seen on this site, I just want to say if you come to a point where you want to get a fast/er truck and you own one look at it before running off and replace it
yeah my buddy used to work at a dodge store and said many of the crew cab versions he drove couldn't even break the rear tires loose. lol

yeah no $h*t there! i know it's rated at 500 but come on... think of the hp to weight. as big a my buddies dodge is and as small as my 06 gmc is. i've handed it to plenty of kiddies drivin a dodge hemi at the track in my old truck and the only difference was my step side had 3.73 and a mostly fiberglass bed!
