    gmc conversion

i just pulled my truck into the garage, where its gonna undergo some surgery. i just bought a cowl for the hood. its gonna get molded on and a roll pan. its going to get a full paint job too. and i love the looks of the sierra denali's. i want to know what i need to get to change to the sierra nose. i know the grill and front bumper and probably the fenders and lights right. do i need the hood too.

yea the 00-02 they are diff in the front end. hood, grill bumper and fenders. the obs is 89-99 i think lol. who knows. the only thing diff from the 90's ones was the grill. everything else was the same for body parts
here is a great side view of the gmc

    the chevy

looks like the gmc is diff on the top near the lights

for 99-02 to change to GMC Denali you will need:

    GMC fenders
    GMC hood
    denali headlights
    denali marker lights
    denali grille
    GMC emblem
    GMC filler panels
    denali bumper cover
    denali bumper cover insert
    denali bumper reinforcement
    denali bumper foam filler
    GMC bumper side brackets

All the parts are available aftermarket except for the denali bumper reinforcement. It is only available through GM and is over $300

You don't need the fenders and hood if you have a 99-02 GMC to start with.

I think Brent has a Chevy... You are going to need pretty much everything sheetmetal-wise from the A-pillar forward... It would be a pretty intense little project... Go see if you can find a decent truck at a junk yard and pull off all that you can since you are going to be painting the whole truck anyway...
