    Angry E brake problem

Help... I just changed the rotors on the rear of my truck and now the e brake shoe is rubbing on the rotor. I pulled this rotor off the past weekend and it has rubbed a bare spot on the e brake shoe and the brake pads squeal now. Has anyone ever changed these lil shoes out and if so is it a pain in the a$$... Its driving me crazy at low speed all i can hear is that damn thing skipping and make a horrible sound its sooooo uncool..

One side or both sides? Did the little "tic-tac" fall out from behind the ebrake shoe? I think GM sells a rebuild kit for the rears that comes with a pair of those slippery devils. GL

Think there was a recall or technical bulletin out for this issue. Mine does the same thing but I have just learned to ignore it until i need rear brakes (have 116k and still have never changed any brake pads front or rear).
