brother took my truck to the track... best time for the 4.8L

I let my brother borrow my truck for the last two days.. His radiator in his dodge went out so i let him borrow my truck until he puts a new one in it.. Well he sent me a email this morning telling me he took it to kennedale and ran it twice... first run 10.01 the second run 9.91 still spinning a little.. Told him to bring me the timeslip tonight when he drops my truck off! If its legit then that would make it the fastest my truck has ran....

It really has gotten me thinking of what i need to do to try and break into the 8's now...

Okay guys, So my brother wasnt lying to me and he really did take my truck to the track... But the bestest news is saved for last!!

1st run he raced a new tundra

    Silvy vs. Tundra
    .261 R/T .063
    2.245 60` 2.150
    6.522 330 6.244
    53.19 mph 55.10
    10.013 1/8 9.615
    70.33 mph 72.08

Second race was against a single cab hemi and my brother was able to run and beat my best time brother said it was a great race and that he was still spinning the tires.....

    Silvy vs. Hemi
    .101 R/T .057
    2.262 60` 2.237
    6.476 330 6.482
    54.12 mph 53.45
    9.919 1/8 9.966
    71.05 mph 69.31

THE GOOD NEWS!! MY TRUCK FINALLY BEAT A HEMI AND POSTED ITS BEST TIME!!!

Thanks Guys, I wish it wasnt all the way in denton Virgil .... I want to get a crane cam 210/218 .531" and a tune first and if i run low 9's after that!! Then i'm thinking I will head out there for sure... My first goal was just to get the truck to run 9.5's now i'm wanting to try and go for a high 8!

Going to start calling my 4.8L "The little engine that could"
