"Inlaws" lost my dog...what do I do?

My fiance and I left our dog with her sister and father for the evening today, not an hour later we get a call that they put her in the back yard (expressedly told them NOT to do this) and she got out and they can't find her anywhere. We've gone to every house on the street and the streets on either side. I have never liked her bitch little sister, and her dad isn't my best buddy either. What do I do? I want to kill right now....

put up posters, check local police and dog pounds, focus on getting dog back. getting back at them will do nothing to to help get the dog back.

I've got a sign up with a reward at the store here everyone uses in this neighborhood. We've talked to just about everyone around. I just hope someone brings her home or she just shows up. The problem is that she's not really familiar with that house/neighborhood so I'm not sure she will know how to get back home even if she is still around there.

good luck man. loosing ones dog is like loosing ones best friend.
Me and my dog drink together. I would have to stop drinking without my pug.
I would be really pissed but it will not help anything at all to loose your kool.
I personally would not leave my dog with any of my in-laws. So don't feel bad.

We looked more last night and nothing, the hardest part was/is seeing my fiance upset. I witnessed my Jack Russel get run over 3 years ago and he was like you say Zeake my best friend.

Don't discount the possibility of theft.
Idiots around where I live steal dogs all the time. From bull dogs to muts.
